Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Randolph NJ is in high-gear preparing for October 5th! On that Sunday the parish will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy celebrated by His Grace, Bishop Michael, followed by a banquet at Meadow Wood Manor. “I’m excited and delighted at the outpouring of our parish’s enthusiasm as we mark 50 years of offering the fullness of the Christian faith in the Morris County community,” said Father David Fox (parish rector). Since January, the parish has been carrying out ambitious plans to mark its golden anniversary.

A capital campaign has enabled renovation of the parish hall. Bishop Michael will bless the area after Saturday Vespers on 4 October, renaming it “Founders Hall” in honor of the group of Orthodox Christians who established the thriving community in the early 1960’s. Other major and minor facility enhancements are underway or in planning stages.

The parish choir has prepared a new CD, “Rejoice in the Lord Always,” featuring the voices of Father David Fox, Father George Hasenecz (retired, former rector), key readers and chanters, and the full parish choir. A brief video featuring, interviews and other recordings, will debut at the Anniversary Banquet. A parish cookbook is up-and-running on the parish website. New service books have been prepared to enable the congregation to participate fully in liturgical events.
