St. Olga’s Community Moves Toward a Permanent Home
The faithful Orthodox community in Plattsburgh, NY continues to gather monthly for worship, with Divine Liturgy most recently celebrated on the same weekend as the glorification of their heavenly patron, St. Olga of Alaska. Although currently limited to meeting once a month on Saturdays at a local Methodist church, the mission of St. Olga’s is vibrant and growing.
Each gathering brings together Orthodox Christians, catechumens, inquirers, and visitors—some traveling from Vermont and even Canada. With God’s help, the steady support of the Diocese, and the dedication of parishioners, St. Olga’s is now in the process of acquiring its own building and property in the Town of Plattsburgh, with hopes of beginning weekly Sunday services in the near future.
We invite you to stay connected by visiting the St. Olga’s website and following their journey on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates and photos
Righteous Olga of Kwethluk, Wonderworker, Matushka of all Alaska, pray to God for us!
