The 5th Annual CROP Hunger Walk, sponsored by Church World Service, was held on 18 October 2014.  The event was spearheaded by Holy Trinity Church in East Meadow NY with the coordination of a pan-Orthodox leadership committee. To date, $9,000 has been raised to help eradicate hunger and poverty locally and world-wide: one step at a time.  "CROP" stands for Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty.
