Having gathered in this Church of St. John the Baptist, Spring Valley, NY, for over 107 years, Faithful of the Parish assembled in prayer for the Akathist of Glory to God for All Things on Thanksgiving Eve. At Vespers, the Litya was taken, Blessing Bread, Oil, Wheat, and Wine. The Congregation was invited to bring Bread and Wine, which would be shared at their Thanksgiving Meals, to bring the Blessings of the Lord from the Church to their Tables.

Those who sang the responses of the Akathist joined with the Acting Rector, Father John Holoduek, for a photo to remember this Service of Thanksgiving.
