On January 1st, 2023, St. Basil’s Orthodox Church celebrated its Parish Feastday. His Eminence Archbishop Michael celebrated the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy. Concelebrating with His Eminence were Archpriest Peter Olsen, Rector, Archpriest Igor Burdikoff, Priest Paul Federoff. Protodeacon Mark Bohush, and Deacon Jason Gagnon. Serving as subdeacons were Alexander Bohush and Alexey Karlgut. Altar servers were Jason Baker, Ben Goes, Andrew Karlgut, and Julian Gagnon. The choir was directed by Reader Gregory Wolosen. Starosta Marie Giokas received a gramota from His Eminence Archbishop Michael for her dedicated and conscientious work on behalf of the parish. A festive meal in the Church Hall was coordinated by parishioners Kim Cuva and Jim Mahar with food donated by parishioners.
